The splendor of autumn colors beginning to blaze around Catskill Creek in the town of Catskill.Catskill Creek is a 46.0-mile-long ( tributary of the Hudson River that runs down from the east northern Catskill Mountains of New York. It flows southeast from its source at Franklinton Vlaie in Schoharie County,through parts of Albany County and Greene County and to its mouth in the village of Catskill on the Hudson River.

Sections of the creek are good for whitewater rafting. Kayaking and canoeing are popular recreational pastimes here as well as fishing in certain areas. Many variety of birds can be seen in the area including eagles,hawks and herons.
