A surreal watercolor painting of leopard,a black panther and a mountain lion (puma,cougar) sitting atop a globe of the world in a combination tropical/desert landscape with both tropical looking plants and cacti surrounding them and mountains (red rock cliffs,mesas) in the background.
The inspiration for this came from a wooden mirror (combination scarf/jewelry hanger) i have that is topped by three cat characters. I love all large cats and came up with these cousins clinging to the world as if they are playing with a beach ball - a sort of a gathering of the clans - a distant cousins family reunion!

Leopard is also associated with nocturnal energies and the magic of the shamanic way. It is the supreme hunter - teaching you to listen to your heart and through patience and persistence to go after and claim what you dream or desire.It is soliatry,full of strength,symbolizes rebirth after prolonged periods of suffering and the healing of deep spiritual,mental/psychic wounds.It is about the reclaiming of power.
