Red Fox - Winter Dawn 2 is the prefect companion watercolor painting for Red Fox - Winter Dawn.
Red fox makes his way through the snow searching the winter landscape for his breakfast.Foxes tend to live in the border areas, the areas between the woods or forest and open fields. And they are most active around dawn and dusk, the "Between time" when the worlds of the magical and reality overlap. If you believe in faeries, the sighting of a fox during these times may be letting you know that the fairy realm is about to open up to you.The energy of fox is the feminine magic of shapeshifting, camouflage and invisibility.Fox teaches us how to come and go without being noticed.
In North America, the red fox ( whose colors can range from reddish to browns, silver grey and black) are the most common. Most foxes coats are a combination of colors which is why they can camouflage themselves so well..The only fox whose coat changes color with the seasons is the arctic fox.Foxes are crafty, ingenious and uniquely skilled animals, many varieties - 21 I believe _ are found throughout the world in just about all climates. They have long, slender legs, and long bushy tails. Their hearing and sense of smell are very acute. Foxes are very adept runners, and although they are part of the canine family, they run and walk on their toes much as cats do.Their tracks tend to look like a single line of footprints due to how they run and place their feet.
