Description
In Native cultures turtle represents Mother Earth. The Iroquios believe that a turtle shed it's shell and that they are descendants of turtle.North America is sometimes referred to as Turtle Island . Turtle is slow moving and methodical, moving at it's own speed, following it's own path. "Slow and steady wind the race." Turtle represents strength,fertility (because of the large number of eggs they lay), persistence and endurance and longevity.
In Eastern cultures turtle represents the balance between Heaven and Earth - the top of it's shell being Heaven and the square underside being Earth.
Lizard represents dreaming - realities shadow side. Review your dreams, don't let fear hold you back. Lizard is swiftness,changeable.
Turkey feathers (turkey) represent the give away - sharing from the heart.
