Description
An abstract landscape of imagined ruins of the southwest cliff dwellers built along a river.This is one of my first abstracts experimenting with colors/line and textures. The warm color palette makes this an inviting image ,drawing you into the mystery of cultures and civilizations that, although long gone have left their mark for future generations to wonder at and study.Archaeology,geology and paleontology have always been fascinations of mine and influence my deep love of the southwest and my desire to portray some of its magic in my artwork.
