This bald eagle is a silent,stationary sentry surveying this tranquil setting on one of the back roads in the town of Catskill,NY (Catskills,Catskill Mountains) This was taken on one of those perfect summer days,not too hot,gorgeous sky and a slight breeze.... Lush greens,lovely winding creeks and streams and this bald eagle statue to complete the picture (it was really there!) My daughter drove me around the back roads looking for some interesting shots- spent a lot of time backing up to get the shots I wanted ( luckily no traffic on these back roads!)

I have been painting and crafting ever since I can remember. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques in watercolor, and mixing watercolor with other mediums. Painting is a meditation to me - it brings me peace and joy.,and has been a healing therapy since I became disabled. I love sharing my art with my grandchildren and inspiring others to try their hand at painting!
