A momma bear and her cub sit quietly on the rocky shore mesmerized by the undulating beauty of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). I'm not sure where or when my love of bears came about, but I do remember getting my first stuffed bear as a Christmas gift when I was in my 20's from a secret Santa at work! A huge sitting bear that looked like a person sitting in my front seat going home! After that everyone gave me bears! Then I moved to the country and they are all around me. Now I love to include them in my country landscapes. This is another of my series of imaginary landscapes. I start painting and my muse takes over!

I have been painting and crafting ever since I can remember. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques in watercolor, and mixing watercolor with other mediums.
