An early fall day by the Catskill Creek in Catskill,Upstate New York.This section has a lot of mud,branch and leaves in sort of little islands in the creek bed. After major storms downed branches and trees accumulate in sections of the creek as they do in many other places.
Catskill Creek is a 46.0-mile-long ( tributary of the Hudson River that runs down from the east northern Catskill Mountains of New York. It flows southeast from its source at Franklinton Vlaie in Schoharie County,through parts of Albany County and Greene County and to its mouth in the village of Catskill on the Hudson River.

Sections of the creek are good for whitewater rafting. Kayaking and canoeing are popular recreational pastimes here as well as fishing in certain areas. Many variety of birds can be seen in the area including eagles,hawks and herons.
