This happy little frog just popped upon the multicolored watercolor wash as I was letting the paint flow! He looked liked he was peering over a rose/flower- decided to do the details with a micron permanent ink marker! It was a playful experience, done as part of a woman's workshop on getting in touch with inner creative/archetypes .
Frog as a spirit animal or totem is associated with transformation,transition,cleansing. Frog as a spirit animal supports us in times of change. It's energy or medicine is associated with the water element, it helps us connect to our emotions and feminine energies, and also to the process of cleansing, whether it is physical, emotional, or more spiritual or energetic. Frog appears in many cultures. These attributes are associated with frog medicine cleansing ( as frog is associated with the water element)
