Out of the Mist metal print by Ellen Levinson. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There's something so relaxing and mystical about a misty morning on or by a lake or stream.Even when you know what is shrouded in the mist there's a sense of mystery - like viewing the world with "soft vision" - sort of out of focus as if squinting and seeing the whole picture and energy of the place instead of focusing on particular objects.One can imagine whatever one wants and when the mist clears little by little sometimes you get a pleasant surprise. Are those really all trees in the background or perhaps castles of Arthurian legend.
Years ago I was sent to camp in New Hampshire.I used to sneak out of my tent very early and hike up to the lake which was usually completely shrouded in mist.I'd sit up on the side of the mountain on some rocks among the blueberry bushes and daydream as I watched the sunrise and the mist slowly lift off the lake.It was sort of like sitting in the clouds-my quiet personal time i...
