Thank you Robert! Squaw Butte Is very popular with both hikers and mountaineers. It is just to the northeast of Emmett, Idaho andseizes almost 6,000 feet above Treasure Valley. The butte was named by The areas Native Americans who believed they saw the image of a maidens profile on one of he sides of the mountain. It is a rich agricultural area.
