This was one of those happy accidents,it didn't start out to be so abstract but I loved the bold colors of the original washes and went with the flow!
These are the blazing fall colors along an off shoot of the Catskill Creek as seen from one of the Hudson River markers near Tatiana's restaurant in Catskill, N.Y. This is one of those places I 've been saying for many years I want to paint/photograph - I'm finally doing it! Fall foliage in all its glory!
Catskill Creek is a 46.0-mile-long ( tributary of the Hudson River that runs down from the east northern Catskill Mountains of New York. It flows southeast from its source at Franklinton Vlaie in Schoharie County,through parts of Albany County and Greene County and to its mouth in the village of Catskill on the Hudson River.
