Arches - Dark of Night is a color enhanced image of an original watercolor painting, my impression of a red sandstone arch in Arches National Park,Utah, where over 2000 sandstone formations decorate the desert landscape. I have taken artistic license and added flowering cacti and a grouping of ancient pottery amid the cactus to give it a decorative feel.
