Semi -circular falls draw the viewer into them - imagine the roar of the water as it cascades over the rocks - picture yourself sitting on one the rocks at the base of the falls being splashed by the cool rejuvenating spray as red tail hawks spiral overhead. Bask in the serenity and the healing power of this tranquil scene.
I came up with the title for this watercolor while thinking of the power of the water crashing on the rocks (and remembering what it was like visiting Niagara Falls) - it reminded me of a line in the movie "Thunderheart" when Maggie stated that power isn't in a piece of paper but in the river.....
