Last Days of Autumn - Creek Reflections is an impressionist style watercolor painting depicting a blue sky,clouds and bare trees reflected in a creek or stream in western Columbia County in upstate New York. Dry leaves cover the ground and spill over into the creek. Thank you to my daughter for taking the photo I used to inspire this painting, she knows what I like and is always looking out for artistic inspirations for me.
Creeks and streams such as this one cut paths through the countryside providing both food and water for the wildlife,in some cases recreational opportunities such as fishing,swimming,kayaking,canoeing and of course daydreaming! This beautiful, serene country landscape would be ideal as a decorative touch in any home or business decor, perfect for a country lodge, restaurant or inn, a bed & breakfast or any place with a rustic decor.
