Soft twinkling,spirit lights float around this swampy marsh guarded by one lone gnarled tree. Mystical,magical and beautifully serene ,this watercolor landscape is from my imagination, but inspired by the many little ponds and swampy areas around where I live. The spirit lights are like a sprinkling of stardust, the dramatic ,digitally darkened palette adds to this paintings sense of mystery and magic.

I have been painting and crafting ever since I can remember. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques in watercolor, and mixing watercolor with other mediums. Painting is a meditation to me - it brings me peace and joy.,and has been a healing therapy since I became disabled. I love sharing my art with my grandchildren and inspiring others to try their hand at painting!
