Psychedelic Tattooed Horse's Head metal print by Ellen Levinson. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Psychedelic Tattooed Horse's Head is a vibrantly colored version of my original,imaginative watercolor painting entitled "Painted Pony". Inked designs include a butterfly,star,flowers and partial aum or om symbols (as the nostrils) as well as many swirls and other designss or patterns on its face and flowing mane.It is set off against a mottled purple and hot pink background - resembling a starry sky.And thus the title Painted Pony - although not exactly accurate!
Aum (om) has a deep spiritual significance and meaning. It is frequently chanted repeatedly while breathing deeply and calmly.The sound of "Aum", is the sound made when all of creation came began- It is the essence of the universe and all creation, all wrapped up in one unimaginable and indescribable aggregate (for lack of a better term), is known as Brahman - which is a core belief of both Buddhism and Hinduism. I have been painting and crafting ever since I can remember. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques in watercolor, and mixing watercolor with other mediums.
